Yours stays yours.
Two tools built for ordinary life rather than for an employer. No account, no cloud, no subscription, no email address — and nothing you enter ever leaves the device in your hand.
IAS Vault
An encrypted place for the things you cannot afford to lose or leak — passwords, bank details, document scans, family records. Encrypted on your device with AES-256-GCM and unlocked with your own key.
- Anyone keeping passwords in a notebook, a phone note, or their head
- People who don't want a subscription password manager
- Families keeping certificates, deeds and policy documents together
- Anyone in a place where handing data to a foreign cloud carries real risk
- No account to create and no email to give
- Nothing is uploaded — there is no server to upload to
- No breach anywhere can include your data, because no one else holds it
- Free with no paid tier, now or planned
IAS Asset
A tracker for everything with an expiry date — insurance, driving licence, passport, vehicle papers, warranties, professional certifications. It tells you before the date, not after.
- Anyone who has paid a penalty for a renewal they forgot
- Households tracking policies and papers across several people
- Professionals whose certifications must stay current
- Small shop and business owners with licences to renew
- Your identity documents are not uploaded to anyone
- No insurer, broker or app company sees what you own
- Works on a phone, offline, once the page has loaded
- Free with no paid tier, now or planned
How to use them
Four steps, and the fourth is the one most people skip.
Open the page
Nothing to install. It works on a phone, tablet or computer, in any modern browser.
Add your things
Everything you type is stored by your own browser, on that device, and nowhere else.
Bookmark it
Add it to your home screen. Once loaded, it keeps working without a connection.
Export a backup
Use Export to save a copy somewhere safe. This is the step that protects you — please do it.
The honest warning — please read this one
Because your data is only on your device, we cannot get it back for you. There is no "forgot password" email, no account recovery and no copy on our side. That is precisely what makes it private, and it is also a real risk you are accepting.
Your data will be lost if you clear your browser data, uninstall the browser, lose the device, or forget your Vault key — unless you have exported a backup first.
So: export a backup, and keep it somewhere you trust. It takes ten seconds. We would rather tell you this plainly than hold a copy of your life so we could rescue you from it.
These tools are free and provided as-is, without warranty. GVS is a small, founder-led practice with no support desk. If something is broken, write to us and we will try to fix it — but we cannot promise when.
Why these are free
GVS earns its living from organisations — assessments, advisory and delivery work for operators, banks and government bodies. That work pays for the practice. These two tools are not part of it.
They are free because charging would require an account, an account would require a server, and a server would mean holding your data — which is the one thing we built everything else to avoid. So there is no paid tier to upgrade to, and no version of this where the free one gets worse to push you toward it.
If they are useful, pass them to someone who needs them. That is the only thing we would ask.
Nothing to sign. Nothing collected. Nothing owed.
If one of these solves something for you today, that is the whole idea working.
