Backup Dashboard — one safety-net view across every GVS tool

Every GVS tool that stores data writes an automatic backup to a folder you choose — no manual export, no clicking "download" after every change. This page reads that same folder and shows you, at a glance, when each tool last backed up. Move to new hardware, or recover from a wiped browser, by pointing that tool's "Restore data" button at the latest file here.

How this actually works (read before relying on it): connecting a folder uses your browser's File System Access API — supported in Chrome, Edge, and Brave, not in Safari or Firefox. Once connected, each tool writes its own backup file into that folder automatically after every save, plus a rolling snapshot every ~60 seconds while you have it open. In Safari/Firefox, tools fall back to periodic auto-download into your regular Downloads folder instead — that path isn't something a website can list for you (browsers don't allow it, for privacy), so this dashboard can't show those. If you want one true central folder, use Chrome/Edge/Brave and point the folder picker at somewhere that syncs — a OneDrive, Google Drive, or Dropbox folder works well, since that also gets your backups onto new hardware automatically.

Backup folder

Connect once — the folder handle is remembered in this browser and shared by every GVS tool on this site, so you won't be asked again per tool.

How to restore

Backups are tool-specific — restore each tool from within that tool, not from this dashboard, since only that tool knows how to interpret its own data shape. Each tool now backs up into its own subfolder inside your connected backup folder, instead of one shared flat folder.

Coverage — what's on auto-backup today

Every GVS tool that stores user-entered data now has Backup/Restore plus automatic folder writes (Chrome/Edge/Brave) or periodic auto-download (Safari/Firefox). Nothing is left on manual-only backup.
